We’re on the lookout for a confident and organised Credit Controller to join a cracking SME that has been operating since the turn of the millennium.

 

Recently buying an industry leader into their group, they’re embarking on a new phase of their growth – genuinely exciting times ahead in this firm!

 

As a well-established local company, they pride themselves on great service and strong customer relationships. Now, they’re needing someone who can bring the same level of care and attention when it comes to managing the customer accounts.

 

Day to day you’ll chasing payments from outstanding debtors to the business, resolve general account enquiries and monitor credit limits.

 

We’re ideally looking for someone who’s got all this experience in a similar role, working for a similar sized SME (£20m turnover).

 

This isn’t just about chasing numbers however. It’s about building good rapport with the customers, keeping communication clear and professional, and making sure accounts are kept on track so the business runs smoothly.

 

You’ll be the kind of person who’s comfortable picking up the phone, who can balance being firm and fair and who takes pride in keeping things in order.

 

In return, you’ll be joining a supportive, down-to-earth team that works hard but enjoys what they do. They’ll give you the training you need to get up to speed with the systems and you’ll have the chance to make the role your own.

 

Monday to Friday, office hours (8am – 5pm ideally) based in Ilkeston (DE7).

 

Paying up to £28k per annum depending on experience. 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and private healthcare after a passed probation.
