We’re working on behalf of a smashing business in the Hire sector, who are looking to add a Mobile Service Engineer to their team based out of their Nottingham depot.
You’ll be travelling across the UK supporting their customers, carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on powered access equipment and van mounted equipment, as well as completing inspections to ensure everything is safe, compliant and ready to go.
No two days are the same. One day you’ll be fault-finding on site, the next you’ll be carrying out routine maintenance or getting equipment back up and running when it matters most. It’s a role with plenty of variety, responsibility and independence.
You’ll have an NVQ Level 2 in Engineering (or equivalent – e.g Powered Access, Motor Mechanics etc), have strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, and a practical can-do attitude.
Experience with powered access equipment is helpful, but not essential – what matters most is your willingness to learn and progress, we want to get you CAP qualified. A full UK driving licence is essential for this position.
In return, you’ll receive a competitive salary depending on experience (£28,000 – £36,000), along with a company vehicle, fuel card, tools and all equipment.
