We’re working with a brilliant food business that’s growing fast, creating luxury treats folk genuinely love.
We’re now looking for someone who can take a great idea and turn it into something that works beautifully in the real world. Not just once – but every single time it rolls off the line.
This is where you come in. You’ll be the Head of NPD’s right-hand person. A superstar Process Technologist.
You’ll be the person who bridges that gap between concept and reality. The one who takes something dreamed up in a kitchen and figures out how to make it happen at scale. You’ll spend as much time on the factory floor as you do thinking things through, tweaking, testing and improving.
No two days will look quite the same. One minute you might be running trials, adjusting ingredients or processes to get things just right. The next, you’re solving a last-minute challenge ahead of a product launch or working closely with different teams to make sure everything lands exactly as it should.
You’ll need to be organised, naturally curious and the kind of person who spots problems early and quietly fixes them before they become bigger ones.
Quality matters. Consistency matters. You’ll work closely with technical teams to make sure every process stands up to scrutiny, while keeping things efficient and practical.
We’re needing someone who’s done something similar before – maybe in process development, NPD or a technical role within food manufacturing. If you’ve spent time around bakery products, even better.
In return we can offer a supportive environment where everyone is pulling in the same direction to help take the business to new heights – developing you in the process – that’s huge to these guys.
We can pay £28,000 – £35,000 depending on experience, with an annual bonus on top of that (after 12 months service). 22 days holiday with a buy / sell scheme too. There’s also a fantastic 50% discount on online orders (you’ll be a family favourite at Christmas!).
Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm with a degree of flexibility required for new launches. HU4 based.
All candidates will be assessed on suitability for the role, and feedback will be given (successful or otherwise) with 7 days of receiving any application.
