We’ve working with a long standing client in the Hire game who need an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to cover maternity leave.

It’s a contract role for at least 12 months, with a planned December start date. You’ll get a proper handover with the current incumbent before they depart mid-January, so you won’t be left to figure it out on your own.

You’ll own the purchase ledger day to day, processing invoices, managing supplier accounts and making sure payments go out accurately and on time.

What you’ll need is experience in a purchase ledger role including making supplier payments and you’ll have used Sage 200. Both are essential.

If you’ve worked in Powered Access before, that’s a real bonus. If not, no problem, it’s the ledger experience that matters most.

It’s a growing business with a strong, supportive team. Whilst there’s no guarantee it will last longer than the contract duration, it’s a rapidly growing business and naturally there is likely to be opportunities beyond.

Paying £34-35k depending on experience plus team socials, a healthcare plan and 22 days holidays a year (plus your birthday).

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, office based in WF4.
